Hello, all! I am home in Colorado from my winter break spent in New York with my boyfriend, Nigel. It was wonderful! I got to meet his parents, who were lovely. More about the trip here.
Here I am at the MoMA in front of an incredible Keith Haring piece.
So, that sounds like a lovely trip, but there are a few questions left unanswered. How do you know this wonderful Nigel from NY and Boston? Did you spend all of Christmas there or were you in Colorado part of the time? Were there other siblings? Cats? Do they live on a farm with horses and apple orchards?
Nigel was born and raised in upstate NY, then went to college at Boston University. He is in Colorado Springs because he is in the Teach for America program, and this is where he was sent. We were in Colorado for actual Christmas, and went to New York on the 29th. He has siblings (2 older sisters), but they live in Minneapolis and San Francisco and couldn't make it home this year. They have no cats, sadly, or animals of any kind, and they have an incredible garden, but no apple trees. I did get to go to a nearby apple orchard, though, and taste the most delicious apple cider donut I've ever had. Probably the most delicious donut I've ever had, period.
